Fujairah is the United Arab Emirates' eastern emirate, and the sporting course built into its mountains is one of the more unusual venues on the international circuit. The 2023 mountain shoot drew an international field that came specifically for what the UAE has built.
The course uses the mountain terrain in a way that flat-land sporting courses cannot. Targets emerge from valleys, run along ridge lines, and disappear behind rock formations that change the visual context every release. The shooters who returned for a second year shot it noticeably better than their first.
