The Gator Cup runs three days every spring on a central Florida property that has hosted some of the biggest sporting events in the southeast. The 2024 running drew a stacked field, including a half-dozen All-Americans and an even larger contingent of regional regulars who treat the cup as a tune-up for the summer circuit.

The weather did not cooperate. Friday's qualifying drew a steady rain that shifted the back course into something nobody had practiced for, and the lead board reshuffled by the time the Saturday main event opened. Nobody quit early. The course got dried out, the targets came on cleaner, and the cup found its winner late Sunday.

The Gator Cup is a weekend that earns its spot on the calendar, and the 2024 edition lived up to it.
