Hudson, Wisconsin does not announce itself on a road map as an international destination. By the time the 2024 World FITASC opened, however, Game Unlimited had drawn the kind of international field that Hudson sees once a generation. Spain, Italy, France, the UK, plus a heavy contingent from across the US.

FITASC parcours has its own rhythm, and the Game Unlimited layout used the property's rolling timber to set a course that asked something different at every station. The wind helped. By Sunday, the cut had shaved the leaderboard to a half-dozen names that could each have walked away with the crown.

This is the field report from a week that is the closest thing American sporting has had to a true international championship on home soil.
